About this event
This event will be an opportunity to hear about a number of important research projects that are underway (funded by the NIHR ARC NENC Open Funding Call in 2021).
Talks will include:
- Professor Helen Ball – ‘Implementing multi-agency SUDI prevention in County Durham – work in progress’
- Ms Laura Gordon – ‘Link workers for children with additional needs’
- Dr Dale Metcalfe – ‘Improving outcomes for children and young people with an intellectual disability in mainstream school: facilitating early identification and support’
- Dr Malcolm Moffat – ‘Postnatal contraception in the North East and North Cumbria: surveying the current landscape to inform policy and research’
