Evaluating NHS-based Tobacco Dependence Services across England: What have we learned? And next steps.
Smoking remains a leading cause of illness and health inequality in England. Helping people to stop smoking while they’re in hospital is important for treating this preventable long-term condition.
This one-hour webinar hosted by Newcastle University and the NIHR Applied Research Collaboration (ARC) North East and North Cumbria will cover:
- The latest research on the implementation and impact of Tobacco Dependency Services delivered in NHS Settings in England
- A walkthrough of a co-produced evaluation toolkit, ‘STEPS’, to support practitioners to evaluate their services locally
This session is aimed at those who have an interest or a role in the treatment of tobacco dependency and service evaluations, including academics, policymakers and third sector organisations.
