The Joined Up North East study, funded by the NIHR Applied Research Collaboration (ARC) North East and North Cumbria, has explored the health and social care pathways of marginalised LGBTQ+ people in North East England.
Working closely with the public, 72 people across the region were interviewed about their experiences. The literature from across the UK and Ireland on LGBTQ+ people’s experiences of homelessness, substance use, and offending was also reviewed, revealing some interesting findings.
Join us for this event, hosted by Rainbow Home North East England, where we will share these findings, along with a short video from the Public Advisors and their report ‘Flowers growing through concrete’.
