North East and North Cumbria Peer Research Community of Practice Event
Monday 9 September, 1pm until 3pm
University of Sunderland
Please join us for the next meeting of the North East and North Cumbria Peer Research Community of Practice.
Peer research enables practitioners and community members to become actively involved in research to directly affect the outcomes. They add an ‘authentic’ voice to research and foster closer collaborations between academics and those impacted by the research findings.
Hosted by Fuse and the NIHR ARC NENC, the Community of Practice was launched to bring together anyone in the region with an interested in peer research from a public health or social care perspective, to share resources, identify key ingredients and gaps, and explore how we could address these gaps.
This meeting is in person and will focus on creative ways to disseminate work that has involved Peer Researchers.
