ARC North East and North Cumbria Social Care Research Special Interest Group meeting

In response to our previous Social Care Research SIG meetings, we plan to use this meeting as a sandpit event. By this we mean using the session to discuss potential issues/topics of research interest within the group.

We will facilitate discussion regarding:

• Defining the scope of the issue/problem- is it something that we could research?
• Sharing an understanding of participants’ expertise that they could contribute – Who would like to be involved and in what role?

• Use break-out sessions to focus on a problem
• Consider turning sandpit ideas into a research project (this would then take place outside of the Social Care Research SIG)
