Project Findings Workshop – led by Dr Diane Simpson, Professor Dorothy Newbury-Birch and Dr Gillian Waller

Join the research team for an innovative workshop that will share the findings of the ‘Your Voice Heard’ project.

Your Voice Heard is a project to develop guidelines for policy makers and practitioners to support young people who are at risk of self-harm and suicide. It has been developed in collaboration with academics from Teesside University, Sunderland University, practitioners, young people and families.

This will be an engaging event, with a range of speakers, including young people, parents and those with lived experience. The team will share their findings of Your Voice Heard and the recommendations for both future research and practice, whilst discussing the highs and lows of conducting research in this area and working with different stakeholders.
