Join our team: Chief Operating Officer – NIHR Applied Research Collaboration (ARC) North East and North Cumbria)

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly experienced, well-motivated and autonomous individual to take up operational responsibility for the NIHR ARC in the North East and North Cumbria.

The ARC Chief Operations Officer role is a key element of the ARC NENC and is essential to ensure successful delivery of the ARC’s key objectives, utilising the governance and accountability structures in place and improving where necessary. The post holder will be required to build strong professional relationships with key stakeholders and collaborators both regionally and nationally, and ensure effective channels of communication at all levels.

The role would suit an ambitious, highly organised individual with extensive experience of leadership, research, collaboration and cross-organisational working and team management in the NHS and wider care sectors as well as in academic environments.

The ARC North East and North Cumbria is hosted by the Cumbria, Northumberland, Tyne and Wear (CNTW) NHS Foundation Trust.
