Thank you for your interest in our Open Funding Competition 2021.

Please complete ALL fields below to register your interest. Incomplete forms can’t be registered. Once we have verified your registration, we will send a full application pack to the email address you provide on the registration form.

Guidance for completing the form

Each application requires a Lead and Co-Lead. One person should be from a non-university organisation (e.g. NHS, Social Care, Local Authority, charity or third sector) and the other should be based at a regional university within the ARC North East and North Cumbria boundary. Other co-applicants can be added to the main application form, in the next stage of the process.

The Lead applicant must be connected to a relevant theme through membership and have provisional support from that theme before registering interest. This may involve a discussion with the theme lead or researchers in the most appropriate theme, who can be contacted using the administration details in the link below. No formal evidence of theme support is required at this stage.

Membership of the NIHR ARC North East and North Cumbria

All applicants named on the registration form should also be registered as a Member of the NIHR ARC North East and North Cumbria – as either an Associate Member or a Network Member.
