Catherine Richardson is a Knowledge Mobilisation Fellow, working with the NIHR ARC North East and North Cumbria.
Catherine’s background is in health librarianship and evidence synthesis, she also has a clinical background in radiotherapy. She has worked in a range of hospital settings retrieving evidence to support clinical practice and academic development as well as working at Newcastle University in the Population Health Sciences Institute and NIHR Innovation Observatory where she was involved in a wide range of reviews.
As a Knowledge Mobilisation Fellow Catherine hopes to help bridge the gap between research and practice and support others to develop their own understanding of knowledge mobilisation and how evidence can be applied to practice and decision making.
