Implementation STakeholder Engagement Model (I-STEM) toolkit
Are you interested in engaging stakeholders when implementing change?
The Innovation and Implementation Research Group at Northumbria University have developed the Implementation STakeholder Engagement Model (I-STEM) toolkit to support academic and non-academic users with designing and carrying out effective stakeholder engagement activities for implementing health and social care innovations.
The toolkit is theory-based and was co-developed with implementers working within the integrated care system. It is designed to support engagement activities across all stages of an implementation process, including initial exploration, preparation, full implementation, and sustainment of an innovation.
Implementation science evidence and tools are integrated into an easy-to-use process.
The infographic below offers an overview of the process.
