Exploring the research infrastructure in the North East and North Cumbria

Online meeting

Monday 17 May, 3 pm – 4.30 pm

This event offers a great introduction to the research infrastructure and landscape in the North East and North Cumbria.

Led by Professor Eileen Kaner, Director of the NIHR ARC North East and North Cumbria.

Who is it for?

This event is aimed at those who may be relatively unfamiliar with the research infrastructure in the North East and North Cumbria.

It is open to anyone with an interest in research or for those who would like to find out how to get involved in research – particularly as a public advisor or community member.

It may also be useful to those already involved in research but who are unfamiliar with the wider research landscape in our region.

It will offer an overview of the different organisations and bodies, including NIHR bodies, carrying out research in the North East and North Cumbria. It will aim to explain each organisation’s individual focus and priorities, as well as how we work together, collaboratively.

There will also be the chance to ask questions about research in the North East and North Cumbria.
