Our governance
We are the National Institute for Health Research (NIHR) Applied Research Collaboration (ARC) for the North East and North Cumbria (NENC).
We are funded by the National Institute for Health Research (NIHR). The NIHR is the nation’s largest funder of health and care research and provides the people, facilities and technology that enables research to thrive. Find out more about the NIHR.
We are hosted by the Cumbria, Northumberland, Tyne and Wear NHS Foundation Trust.
Our governance structures
Our work is guided and overseen by a number of key boards.
They are:
- Operational Executive Board
- Stakeholder Board
- Scientific Advisory Board
We also have an Implementation Advisory Group and Public Advisory Network who help to shape and guide our activities.
