ARC Research Fellow: Knowledge Mobilisation and Implementation

Based at Northumbria University

This role is fixed term on a 0.8 full time equivalent basis, with contract available until no later than March 31st 2026.

Applications are invited for a talented and ambitious Research Fellow to work within our NIHR Applied Research Collaboration covering the North East and North Cumbria (ARC NENC). Working as part of multi-disciplinary teams, you will support the Knowledge Mobilisation and Implementation Science research theme in the delivery of research activity undertaken in the theme, working collaboratively with partners and other themes in ARC NENC.

The role will be based in Northumbria University’s Department of Nursing, Midwifery and Health within the Faculty of Health and Life Sciences at Northumbria University.

The post holder will based in the Implementation and Innovation Research Group (IIR).  IIR work with key health and social care stakeholders to develop innovative, individualised, community-based and organisational solutions to problems of implementation and knowledge mobilisation through applied research. Through high quality research, they develop theories, tools and methodologies as well as interventions to support implementation and knowledge mobilisation in practice.
