Nicola Weatherburn is the Communications Manager for the NIHR Applied Research Collaboration (ARC) North East and North Cumbria (NENC).
She leads the development and delivery of communications and engagement activities to support awareness, interest, and involvement in the ARC’s activities and work.
She is particularly passionate about ensuring that research evidence is accessible and easy to understand.
She has worked within the communications field for more than 20 years, including in local government and higher education.
