The ARC North East and North Cumbria is a region-wide and responsive network of people, focussed on applied research, innovation, partnership and collaboration to prevent illness, improve health and social care, and reduce health inequalities, for all.
We work together and with our communities, to design, deliver and implement research that helps to achieve better fairer health and care at all ages and in all places.
Become a network member of the NIHR ARC North East and North Cumbria
Network membership is open to anyone involved in, or interested in, health and social care research or delivery in the North East and North Cumbria region. This includes anyone linked to our six regional universities, regional health and care providers, community and voluntary sector agencies, public members, patients and service users, and others. We also welcome members from business or industry.
With network membership you’ll receive regular newsletter updates, invitations to events, and other opportunities to get involved in a way that’s appropriate to your role and interests.
