Please see below for a training opportunity which is currently being offered by the Centre for Social Justice and Community Action, Durham University.   This is likely to fill up quickly, therefore booking is essential.

Skills for Participatory Action Research: Tools for Collaborative Assessment and Reflection taking place on  Tuesday 4th June 2024 between  10.00am and 4pm at the Teaching and Learning Centre, Durham University.

This is aimed at academics, postgraduate students and members of community organisations.

Facilitators: Prof Kristin Kalsem, University of Cincinnati and Prof Mary Brydon-Miller, University of Louisville, USA are highly experienced participatory researchers visiting from the USA.  They will be providing training on how to undertake a group level assessment, community needs analysis, structured ethical reflection and exploration of researcher roles.
