This session is all about Research Champions and the Participant Experience. A Research Champion is a volunteer who wants to promote research in healthcare to other patients, members of the public, carers and to healthcare professionals.
This session us run by Justine Smith, Senior Strategic Manager for the NIHR Clinical Research Network North East and North Cumbria.
It is part of a series hosted by Creating Connections, a regional network in the North East and North Cumbria that brings together people who have a role in public involvement and community engagement (PICE) in health and social care.
This session is for anybody who is interested in learning more about PICE, including members of the public and professionals.
