Farewell to ARC NENC Manager, Dr Jane Pearson

Dr Jane Pearson moved on from the ARC North East and North Cumbria at the end of October, to take up a new opportunity based at Manchester University.

We are currently in the process of recruiting a new Chief Operating Officer for the ARC NENC. In the meantime, colleagues from the ARC central team will be covering various aspects of the role.

If you have a question or matter that you would normally direct to the ARC Manager, please send it to the ARC Central mailbox instead – at [email protected] and a member of the team will respond as soon as possible.

Lockdown Life North East – watch now

Lockdown Life North East is a project that explores the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on young people across our region over the past 18 months. The young people involved in the study have co-created a film about their experiences, which launched this week and has since had numerous, positive reviews.

The project has been led by researchers from Newcastle University/NIHR ARC NENC and supported by the North East Youth Alliance (NEYA). The film was produced by Operating Theatre.
