Our Public Involvement and Community Engagement Strategy
Public Involvement
One of the key priorities for our Applied Research Collaboration (ARC) is to engage with and involve members of the public and communities throughout the region, so they have the opportunity to be actively involved in ARC health and care research.
In order to do this, we have developed a strategy for public involvement and community engagement (PICE) and this document provides an overview of what we are doing, how, when and where we are doing it and, most importantly how we will know what has been achieved as we are going along.
Our original strategy was finalised in 2021. We have since updated the strategy (May 2024) to cover our ARC extension until March 2026. This was updated again in March 2025.
